بعد كارفاخال.. خيتافي يتواصل مع راموس – أخبار السعودية
كشف رئيس نادي خيتافي الإسباني أنخيل توريس عن إجراء محادثات مع ممثلي أسطورة ريال مدريد سيرجيو راموس، لبحث إمكانية التعاقد معه.
ولم ينضم راموس إلى أي نادٍ منذ رحيله عن مونتيري المكسيكي نهاية العام الماضي، ولا يزال المدافع المخضرم يبحث عن تجربة جديدة، رغم بلوغه سن الـ40 عاماً.
محادثات مع وكيله وشقيقه
وبسؤاله عن إمكانية التعاقد مع راموس، أجاب توريس في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة «آس» الإسبانية: «نعم»، ولم يتوقف الأمر عند هذا الحد، إذ أكد رئيس خيتافي وجود اتصالات بالفعل مع المقربين من المدافع الإسباني، قائلاً: «تحدث معي وكيله وشقيقه».
يناير موعد محتمل للصفقة
ومع ذلك، أوضح رئيس النادي أن أولويات المدرب خوسيه بوردالاس تتمثل حالياً في تدعيم مراكز أخرى، قائلاً: «لدينا ستة مدافعين في قلب الدفاع، ولم يكن هذا المركز من بين احتياجات المدرب في الوقت الحالي، إذ يريد لاعبين على الأطراف».
واختتم توريس حديثه قائلاً: «ربما إذا لم يتم الأمر الآن، فقد يحدث في يناير، إذا قررنا ضم مدافع، لكن هذا المركز مغطى لدينا بشكل جيد».
يُذكر أن خيتافي أعلن الأسبوع الماضي تعاقده مع الظهير الأيمن المخضرم داني كارفاخال في صفقة انتقال حر، عقب رحيله عن ريال مدريد.
The president of the Spanish club Getafe, Ángel Torres, revealed that he has had talks with representatives of Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos to discuss the possibility of signing him.
Ramos has not joined any club since leaving Monterrey in Mexico at the end of last year, and the veteran defender is still looking for a new experience, despite reaching the age of 40.
Discussions with his agent and brother
When asked about the possibility of signing Ramos, Torres replied in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper “AS”: “Yes,” and it didn’t stop there, as the Getafe president confirmed that there have indeed been communications with those close to the Spanish defender, saying: “His agent and brother spoke to me.”
January a potential date for the deal
However, the club president clarified that the priorities of coach José Bordalás currently lie in strengthening other positions, stating: “We have six defenders in central defense, and this position is not among the coach’s needs at the moment, as he wants players on the flanks.”
Torres concluded his remarks by saying: “Perhaps if it doesn’t happen now, it could happen in January if we decide to sign a defender, but this position is well covered for us.”
It is worth mentioning that Getafe announced last week the signing of veteran right-back Dani Carvajal in a free transfer after his departure from Real Madrid.
