الأردن والاتحاد الأوروبي يدينان هجوم الحوثي على الرياض – أخبار السعودية
تلقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله اتصالًا هاتفيًا من نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية أيمن الصفدي.
وفي مستهل الاتصال، أعرب الصفدي عن إدانة بلاده لاعتداءات ميليشيا الحوثي الغاشمة التي استهدفت مطار الملك خالد الدولي، وتضامنها المطلق مع المملكة، مثمناً جهود السلطات السعودية في تقديم العناية والرعاية الطبية للمواطنين الأردنيين المصابين.
كما بحث الوزيران التطورات الإقليمية، وسبل دعم أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.
كما تلقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله اتصالًا هاتفيًا من الممثلة العليا للاتحاد الأوروبي للشؤون الخارجية والسياسة الأمنية نائبة رئيس المفوضية الأوروبية كايا كلاس.
وجرى خلال الاتصال استعراض علاقات التعاون المشترك بين المملكة والاتحاد الأوروبي، ومناقشة التطورات الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وتناول الاتصال هجوم ميليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية على مطار الملك خالد الدولي، حيث أكدت الممثلة العليا للاتحاد الأوروبي إدانة الاتحاد لهذا العمل الإرهابي، مشددةً على أنه لا يمكن تبرير الهجمات العشوائية التي تستهدف المدنيين والبنية التحتية المدنية.
وأعربت عن تضامن الاتحاد الأوروبي مع المملكة، وتعازيها لأسر المتوفين، وتمنياتها للمصابين بالشفاء العاجل.
كما أكدت خلال الاتصال على ضرورة بذل الجهود لمواجهة التصعيد الإقليمي، وأهمية رفع مستوى التعاون المشترك في الدفاع البحري بما يضمن أمن وسلامة الممرات المائية في المنطقة.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi.
At the beginning of the call, Safadi expressed his country’s condemnation of the brutal attacks by the Houthi militia that targeted King Khalid International Airport, and its complete solidarity with the Kingdom, praising the efforts of the Saudi authorities in providing care and medical assistance to the injured Jordanian citizens.
The two ministers also discussed regional developments and ways to support the security and stability of the region.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah also received a phone call from the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell.
During the call, they reviewed the cooperative relations between the Kingdom and the European Union, and discussed regional and international developments of mutual interest.
The call addressed the attack by the Houthi terrorist militia on King Khalid International Airport, where the High Representative of the European Union condemned this terrorist act, emphasizing that random attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure cannot be justified.
She expressed the European Union’s solidarity with the Kingdom, her condolences to the families of the deceased, and her wishes for the injured to recover quickly.
She also emphasized during the call the necessity of efforts to confront regional escalation and the importance of enhancing joint cooperation in maritime defense to ensure the security and safety of the waterways in the region.
