كشفت الفنانة السورية ديمه قندلفت سبب اعتذارها عن مسلسل كولومبيا، الذي كان سيجمعها بالمخرجة رشا شربتجي.

وأضافت في لقاء تلفزيوني: «كنت متحمسة كثير لأن نعمل عمل أنا ورشا، لأنه صار زمان ما اشتغلنا مع بعض، وكنت أحب أن نعمل شيئاً جميلاً».
وعن سبب اعتذارها عن «كولومبيا»، أوضحت قندلفت أنها كانت تتمنى أن تكون عودتها إلى الأعمال المودرن من خلال تعاونها مع رشا شربتجي، لكنها لم تشعر بأن الشخصية مناسبة لها، وقالت: «كنت أحب أن تكون عودتي مع رشا لنعمل شيئاً مميزاً، لكن بصراحة أنا ما وجدت نفسي في النص، ولم تستهويني الشخصية، يعني ليست هي الشخصية التي كنت أحب أن أعود فيها».
وأعلنت قندلفت عن رغبتها في العودة إلى الأعمال المودرن، بعد فترة ابتعدت خلالها عن هذا النوع من الأعمال، وقالت: «صار لي فترة طويلة ما اشتغلت عمل مودرن، من مسلسل ستيلتو إلى «القدر»، ثم «العربجي 1» و«العربجي 2» و«نويلاتي»، أنا صار لي كثير عن المودرن».

She added in a television interview: “I was very excited to work on a project with Rasha because it has been a while since we worked together, and I wanted us to create something beautiful.”
Regarding the reason for her withdrawal from “Colombia,” Qandalaft explained that she had hoped her return to modern works would be through her collaboration with Rasha Sharbatji, but she did not feel the character was suitable for her. She said: “I would have loved for my return to be with Rasha so we could create something special, but honestly, I did not find myself in the script, and the character did not appeal to me; it is not the character I would have liked to return with.”
Qandalaft announced her desire to return to modern works after a period during which she distanced herself from this type of projects, saying: “It has been a long time since I worked on a modern project, from the series ‘Stiletto’ to ‘Al-Qadar,’ then ‘Al-Arbaji 1’ and ‘Al-Arbaji 2’ and ‘Nawalati.’ I have been away from modern works for a long time.”
