في وقت قياسي وبسلاسة تامة.. نجاح عملية فصل التوأم المغربي سجى وضحى – أخبار السعودية
في إنجاز طبي جديد يعكس كفاءة المنظومة الصحية السعودية، أُعلن عن نجاح مرحلة الفصل الجراحي للتوأم الملتصق المغربي «سجى وضحى» بسلاسة تامة وفي وقت قياسي، لتنتقل الطفلتان مباشرة إلى الخطوة الأخيرة المتمثلة في الجراحة التجميلية بمستشفى الملك عبدالله التخصصي للأطفال بالرياض.
العملية الدقيقة التي قادها الدكتور عبدالله الربيعة ضمن البرنامج السعودي للتوائم الملتصقة، سارت وفق خطة محكمة قسّمت التدخل الجراحي إلى مراحل متعددة للتعامل مع الالتصاق المعقد في منطقتي الصدر والبطن، والاشتراك في أغشية القلب والكبد والأمعاء. ومع إتمام الفصل بنجاح، يباشر الفريق الطبي الآن استكمال الإجراءات التجميلية لضمان أفضل فرصة حياة كريمة وصحية للطفلتين، مواصلين بذلك مسيرة نجاح البرنامج الذي لطالما صنع الفارق للعائلات حول العالم.
In a new medical achievement that reflects the efficiency of the Saudi health system, it was announced that the surgical separation phase of the Moroccan conjoined twins “Saja and Duha” was successfully completed smoothly and in record time, allowing the two girls to move directly to the final step, which involves cosmetic surgery at King Abdullah Specialist Children’s Hospital in Riyadh.
The delicate operation, led by Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah as part of the Saudi program for conjoined twins, proceeded according to a well-organized plan that divided the surgical intervention into multiple stages to address the complex adhesion in the chest and abdomen areas, as well as the shared membranes of the heart, liver, and intestines. With the successful completion of the separation, the medical team is now proceeding with the cosmetic procedures to ensure the best chance for a dignified and healthy life for the two girls, thus continuing the successful journey of a program that has always made a difference for families around the world.
