محافظ «ساما»: الصدمات المتكررة تهدد استقرار الاقتصاد العالمي – أخبار السعودية
أكد محافظ البنك المركزي السعودي «ساما» أيمن بن محمد السياري، أن التجزؤ الجيوسياسي والتغير التقني والصدمات المتكررة تسهم في إحداث تحولات هيكلية في الاقتصاد العالمي، ما يستدعي تبني سياسات موثوقة لتعزيز القدرة على الصمود، وترسيخ هوامش الأمان المالي، ودعم الاستثمار في النمو المستقبلي.
وأوضح السياري، خلال اجتماع اللجنة الدولية للشؤون النقدية والمالية، على هامش الاجتماعات السنوية لصندوق النقد والبنك الدوليين في تايلند، أهمية مراعاة السياسات التي يقدمها صندوق النقد الدولي لاستدامة الاستثمار في جميع مراحل قطاع الطاقة، بما يشمل الإنتاج والتكرير والتخزين والنقل، وفي مختلف مصادر الطاقة، بما فيها النفط والغاز.
وشدد على أن أمن الطاقة يمثل عنصراً أساسياً لتحقيق استقرار الاقتصاد الكلي ودعم النمو على المدى المتوسط.
وأشار محافظ البنك المركزي السعودي إلى أهمية الدور الذي يضطلع به صندوق النقد الدولي في مساعدة الدول الأعضاء على مواجهة التحديات الراهنة، مؤكداً ضرورة استمرار الصندوق في أداء مهامه الأساسية، وتسخير أدواته في مجالات الرقابة والتمويل وتنمية القدرات، بما يدعم الاستقرار والقدرة على الصمود والإصلاحات المستدامة.
ولفت إلى أن المراجعات الرئيسية لسياسات صندوق النقد الدولي، التي أُنجزت أخيراً، تشكل أساساً متيناً، مؤكداً أن الأولوية خلال المرحلة القادمة تتمثل في تنفيذ توصياتها بفاعلية وإنصاف، وتقديم الدعم بما يتناسب مع ظروف الدول الأعضاء.
The Governor of the Saudi Central Bank “SAMA,” Ayman bin Mohammed Al-Sayari, confirmed that geopolitical fragmentation, technological changes, and recurring shocks contribute to structural transformations in the global economy, necessitating the adoption of reliable policies to enhance resilience, establish financial safety margins, and support investment in future growth.
Al-Sayari explained, during the International Monetary and Financial Committee meeting on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Thailand, the importance of considering the policies presented by the International Monetary Fund for the sustainability of investment across all stages of the energy sector, including production, refining, storage, and transportation, and in various energy sources, including oil and gas.
He emphasized that energy security is a fundamental element for achieving macroeconomic stability and supporting medium-term growth.
The Governor of the Saudi Central Bank pointed out the important role played by the International Monetary Fund in assisting member countries to face current challenges, stressing the need for the Fund to continue performing its core functions and utilizing its tools in the areas of surveillance, financing, and capacity development, to support stability, resilience, and sustainable reforms.
He noted that the recent major reviews of the International Monetary Fund’s policies provide a solid foundation, emphasizing that the priority in the upcoming phase is to effectively and fairly implement its recommendations and provide support that aligns with the circumstances of member countries.
