استقبل ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز في الديوان الملكي بقصر اليمامة في الرياض اليوم (الأربعاء)، رئيس وزراء جمهورية العراق الشقيقة علي فالح الزيدي.
وجرى خلال الاستقبال مناقشة تطورات الأحداث الإقليمية، وتنسيق الجهود بشأنها، بما يعزز أمن واستقرار المنطقة.
كما جرى استعراض أوجه العلاقات السعودية العراقية،
وأكد ولي العهد حرص المملكة على تعزيز التعاون بين البلدين الشقيقين في مختلف المجالات، وعلى وجه الخصوص تعزيز التنسيق في الجانب الأمني.
وأعرب رئيس الوزراء العراقي عن إدانة واستنكار الحكومة العراقية بشدة، الهجوم الذي استهدف مطار الملك خالد الدولي والاستهدافات التي طالت الأعيان المدنية والحيوية في المملكة، معتبراً هذه الاستهدافات تهديداً للأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي.
وأكد رئيس الوزراء موقف الحكومة العراقية الثابت بعدم السماح باستخدام الأراضي العراقية منطلقاً لأي اعتداءات أو أعمال تمسّ أمن المملكة ودول المنطقة، وحرص الحكومة العراقية على الالتزام بمبادئ حسن الجوار واحترام سيادة المملكة والدول الشقيقة.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, received the Prime Minister of the sister Republic of Iraq, Ali Faleh Al-Zaydi, today (Wednesday) at the Royal Court in Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.
During the reception, discussions were held regarding the developments of regional events and the coordination of efforts concerning them, in a way that enhances the security and stability of the region.
The Saudi-Iraqi relations were also reviewed,
and the Crown Prince emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields, particularly in strengthening coordination in the security aspect.
The Iraqi Prime Minister expressed the Iraqi government’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted King Khalid International Airport and the assaults on civilian and vital facilities in the Kingdom, considering these attacks a threat to regional security and stability.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed the Iraqi government’s firm position of not allowing Iraqi territory to be used as a launching pad for any attacks or actions that threaten the security of the Kingdom and the countries of the region, and the Iraqi government’s commitment to the principles of good neighborliness and respect for the sovereignty of the Kingdom and sisterly countries.
