1 – In the Fabric of the Shawl

She rose above the threads of her shawl.

She held onto words so that her face wouldn’t slip into the depths of them,

placing a smile as a possibility and not straying from it, relying on the eloquent phrases of her face;

fluttering between them, she ensures that she still fills them to the edge, overflowing with the rhythm of her name,

clinging to the rope of laughter to show how she is adept in lightness,

and how she even does not touch the ground, relying on a narrative that, whenever she appears, casts upon her a fabric of a shawl that is her poem, in which she does not want to extinguish a single word, standing in the eyes and in the glances,

she could not and time did not allow her to encircle it with a fence,

she stands in the mouth and in its familiarity and ease, for it is the closest exit if a whistle surprised her, if a light read upon her that she stands on the edge of a shawl,

yet she has settled in her shawl as a butterfly..

I do not know from which two wheat-colored wings she came or from which field or hymn or song;

and she remained steadfast and radiant on the branch of the place alone; she did not budge and will not.

The enchanting one rose above the threads of her shawl.

She rose above the threads of her shawl.

2 – A Preserved Image

The shawls, coats, and dresses elevate the deep within us

and entrust it to the mirror.

The mirror knows how faithful it is,

capable of sheltering the smile and defending it.

Who can carry such a dull blue,

and who in its glass can preserve..

and echo a faint yellow light like this,

who has the ability to hold eyes soaked in their dream,

or shadows that have grown from the apprehension of their owners and do not falter..

Who.. who..

other than a mirror.

3 – Her Mouth is a Nest of Smiles

Her spirit is vast

her wings are helping hands

her feathers are abundant,

and her mouth is a nest of smiles..

Guide me, O people of goodness, to the majesty of lightness,

stop me at the door of the song of her eyes,

make me a thread in the tie of her head, perhaps I will fall there upon something of my guidance, perhaps I stood upon my two feet;

I want to believe in the light of her rippling, to believe in the sweetness of her branch, so I can dance close to her violin and like her, I will dance.
