مدير مهرجان الموسيقى العربية: انخفاض العائد المالي تسبب في اعتذار النجوم – أخبار السعودية
كشف مدير مهرجان ومؤتمر الموسيقى العربية المايسترو محمد الموجي كواليس الأزمة المالية التي تواجه الدورة الـ34 من المهرجان، موضحاً أن انخفاض الميزانية بشكل كبير فرض على الإدارة اتباع سياسة لترشيد النفقات، ما انعكس على مفاوضات مشاركة عدد من نجوم الغناء واعتذارهم عن عدم الظهور في الدورة الجديدة.
اعتذار النجوم
وتحدث الموجي عن تفاصيل الأزمة خلال لقائه مع الإعلامية سهير جودة في برنامج «الستات» الذي تقدّمه عبر قناة «النهار»، مفجّراً مفاجأة حول أسباب اعتذار عدد من النجوم، وحجم الميزانية المتاحة، إلى جانب موقف ابنته المطربة فرح الموجي من المشاركة في الدورة الحالية من المهرجان.
وأوضح مدير «مهرجان الموسيقى العربية» أن الدورة الحالية من المهرجان تواجه ظروفاً مالية مختلفة عن الدورات السابقة، مشيراً إلى أن الميزانية المتاحة اليوم تقل بصورة كبيرة عن ميزانية الدورة الماضية.
وقال: «فكرة البحث عن رجال أعمال ورعاة لمهرجان الموسيقى العربية لم تكن موجودة، لأن المهرجان لم يواجه أزمة مالية بهذا الشكل في الأوقات السابقة، لكن كان في راعي أو اتنين وكانت الأمور مضبوطة».
وأضاف: «لما المشكلات زادت حالياً بدأنا نفكر في موضوع الرعاة، لكن على مدار السنين الماضية لم نواجه أزمة، لأننا كنا نتلقى دعماً من الدولة للمهرجان، واليوم نمر بظروف صعبة ومحتاجين ناس تقف معانا».
وكشف الموجي عن حجم الفارق في الميزانية، قائلاً: «ميزانية الدورة 34 من المهرجان أقل من نصف ميزانية الدورة السابقة، ومع ذلك كان هناك نجوم في الجدول».
المقابل المادي
وتطرق الموجي إلى أسباب غياب عدد من نجوم الغناء عن الدورة الـ34 من المهرجان، مؤكداً أن المقابل المادي كان السبب وراء اعتذار الفنانين الذين لم يتم الاتفاق معهم على المشاركة.
وقال: «كل النجوم اللي مش موجودين في المهرجان واعتذروا كان السبب المقابل المادي، الجميع كان يحب هاني شاكر، ولكن المشاركة في دورة المهرجان اللي بتحمل اسمه والتنازل عن المقابل المادي هي فكرة مثالية جداً، مش موجودة في الواقع».
وأوضح بأن إدارة المهرجان حاولت التواصل مع عدد من النجوم لإقناعهم بالمشاركة رغم ظروف ترشيد النفقات، إلا أن المفاوضات لم تنتهِ إلى اتفاق.
تكريم هاني شاكر
وأشار مدير المهرجان إلى أن إطلاق اسم الفنان هاني شاكر على الدورة الحالية من المهرجان وتكريمه لا يعني بالضرورة أن يتنازل الفنانون المشاركون عن أجورهم، مؤكداً أن التقدير الفني للفنان المكرَّم لا يرتبط بالتفاوض حول المقابل المادي للمشاركين.
وأوضح أن فكرة مشاركة النجوم في دورة تحمل اسم هاني شاكر بدون الحصول على مقابل مادي تظل، من وجهة نظره، تصوراً مثالياً لا يتوافق مع الواقع العملي لتنظيم المهرجان.
The director of the Arab Music Festival and Conference, Maestro Mohamed El-Mougy, revealed the behind-the-scenes of the financial crisis facing the 34th edition of the festival, explaining that the significant budget reduction forced the administration to adopt a policy of cost rationalization, which reflected on the negotiations for the participation of several singing stars and their apologies for not appearing in the new edition.
Stars’ Apologies
El-Mougy discussed the details of the crisis during his meeting with media personality Soheir Gouda on the program “The Ladies,” which she presents on “Al-Nahar” channel, revealing a surprise regarding the reasons behind the apologies of several stars, the size of the available budget, as well as the position of his daughter, singer Farah El-Mougy, regarding participation in the current edition of the festival.
The director of the “Arab Music Festival” clarified that the current edition of the festival is facing financial circumstances different from previous editions, noting that the available budget today is significantly less than that of the last edition.
He said: “The idea of searching for businessmen and sponsors for the Arab Music Festival did not exist, because the festival had not faced a financial crisis like this in previous times, but there was one or two sponsors, and things were under control.”
He added: “When the problems increased currently, we started thinking about sponsorship, but over the past years, we did not face a crisis because we were receiving support from the state for the festival, and today we are going through difficult circumstances and need people to stand by us.”
El-Mougy revealed the extent of the budget difference, saying: “The budget for the 34th edition of the festival is less than half of the budget for the previous edition, and yet there were stars on the schedule.”
Financial Compensation
El-Mougy addressed the reasons for the absence of several singing stars from the 34th edition of the festival, confirming that financial compensation was the reason behind the apologies of the artists who had not agreed to participate.
He said: “All the stars who are not present at the festival and apologized did so because of financial compensation. Everyone loved Hani Shakir, but participating in the festival edition that bears his name and waiving financial compensation is a very ideal idea, which is not present in reality.”
He clarified that the festival administration tried to communicate with several stars to convince them to participate despite the cost rationalization circumstances, but the negotiations did not reach an agreement.
Honoring Hani Shakir
The festival director pointed out that naming the current edition of the festival after artist Hani Shakir and honoring him does not necessarily mean that the participating artists will waive their fees, emphasizing that the artistic appreciation for the honored artist is not related to negotiations regarding the financial compensation of the participants.
He explained that the idea of stars participating in an edition bearing Hani Shakir’s name without receiving financial compensation remains, in his view, an ideal concept that does not align with the practical reality of organizing the festival.
