«البديوي» يرحب بموقف مجلس الأمن من الاعتداءات الحوثية على السعودية – أخبار السعودية
أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي، عن تقديره للموقف الذي عبر عنه أعضاء مجلس الأمن الدولي في بيانهم الرئاسي بشأن الاعتداءات التي تشنها ميليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية على المملكة العربية السعودية، مؤكدًا أن إدانة المجلس لهذه الاعتداءات تمثل رسالة دولية واضحة برفض استمرار استهداف المملكة ومقدراتها الوطنية، وتهديد أمن الملاحة البحرية والممرات التجارية الدولية.
وأوضح ، أن أهمية البيان تكمن في تأكيد مسؤولية المجتمع الدولي تجاه وقف هذه الانتهاكات، وعدم السماح باستمرار حصول الميليشيا الحوثية على الأسلحة والدعم الذي يغذي اعتداءاتها، مشيرًا إلى أن التنفيذ الكامل لقرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2216 (2015) يمثل التزامًا دوليًا لا بد من الوفاء بمقتضياته، بما يسهم في وضع حد لهذه الممارسات التي تهدد أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.
وأكد معالي الأمين العام أن مجلس التعاون ينظر إلى أمن المملكة العربية السعودية بوصفه ركنًا أساسيًا في منظومة الأمن الخليجي المشترك، وأن دول المجلس تقف بموقف موحد وحاسم إلى جانب المملكة، وتساندها في جميع الإجراءات التي تتخذها للدفاع عن سيادتها وصون أمنها وحماية مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed his appreciation for the position expressed by the members of the United Nations Security Council in their presidential statement regarding the attacks launched by the Houthi terrorist militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming that the Council’s condemnation of these attacks represents a clear international message rejecting the continued targeting of the Kingdom and its national resources, and threatening the security of maritime navigation and international trade routes.
He explained that the importance of the statement lies in affirming the international community’s responsibility to stop these violations and not allow the Houthi militia to continue receiving weapons and support that fuel their attacks, noting that the full implementation of Security Council Resolution 2216 (2015) represents an international commitment that must be fulfilled, contributing to putting an end to these practices that threaten the security and stability of the region.
The Secretary-General affirmed that the Council views the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a fundamental pillar of the joint Gulf security system, and that the member states stand united and resolute alongside the Kingdom, supporting it in all measures it takes to defend its sovereignty, safeguard its security, and protect its citizens and residents on its territory.
