شهد طريق المطار في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان، الثلاثاء، حادثة انقلاب حافلة ركاب أسفر عن وفاة شخص وإصابة 40 آخرين، في واقعة استدعت استنفار فرق الإنقاذ والإسعاف والشرطة التي هرعت إلى الموقع فور تلقي البلاغ.
وأوضح الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام أن الحادثة وقعت على جانب الطريق أثناء سير الحافلة، ما أدى إلى انقلابها وإصابة عدد كبير من الركاب، مشيراً إلى أن أحد المصابين توفي متأثراً بجراحه البالغة، فيما نُقل الباقون إلى المستشفيات لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.
وتعاملت فرق الإسعاف ميدانياً مع المصابين وقدمت لهم الإسعافات الأولية قبل نقلهم، بينما جرى إخلاء جثمان المتوفى إلى المستشفى. وبدأت الجهات المختصة تحقيقاً مرورياً موسعاً للوقوف على أسباب الحادثة وتحديد ملابساتها، وسط متابعة من الأجهزة الأمنية والإدارية في العاصمة.
وتشير المعلومات الأولية إلى أن الحادثة وقعت نتيجة فقدان السيطرة على المركبة أثناء السير، فيما تستمر التحقيقات لتحديد العوامل الفنية والإنسانية التي أدت إلى انقلاب الحافلة.
A passenger bus overturned on the airport road in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Tuesday, resulting in one death and 40 injuries, in an incident that prompted the mobilization of rescue, ambulance, and police teams who rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the report.
The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate explained that the incident occurred on the side of the road while the bus was in motion, leading to its overturning and injuring a large number of passengers. He noted that one of the injured died from his severe injuries, while the others were transported to hospitals for necessary medical care.
Ambulance teams dealt with the injured on-site and provided them with first aid before their transport, while the body of the deceased was evacuated to the hospital. The relevant authorities have begun an extensive traffic investigation to determine the causes of the incident and clarify its circumstances, with monitoring from security and administrative agencies in the capital.
Initial information indicates that the incident occurred due to loss of control of the vehicle while in motion, while investigations continue to identify the technical and human factors that led to the bus’s overturning.
