«تحذير أحمر» من الأرصاد.. أمطار وسيول تهدد رهاط ومدركة – أخبار السعودية
أصدر المركز الوطني للأرصاد إنذارًا أحمر يحذر فيه من هطول أمطار غزيرة على محافظتي رهاط ومدركة بمنطقة مكة المكرمة، مصحوبة برياح شديدة السرعة وانعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية، إلى جانب تساقط البرد وجريان السيول وصواعق رعدية، في حالة جوية متصاعدة تستمر حتى الساعة التاسعة مساءً.
وأوضح المركز أن المعطيات المناخية تشير إلى نشاط كبير في السحب الركامية، ما يرفع احتمالية تشكل السيول وارتفاع منسوب المياه في الأودية والشعاب، داعيًا السكان إلى توخي الحيطة والابتعاد عن مجاري السيول ومناطق تجمع المياه، والالتزام بتعليمات الجهات المختصة لضمان السلامة العامة.
ويأتي هذا التحذير ضمن سلسلة تنبيهات أطلقتها الأرصاد خلال الأيام الماضية؛ نتيجة التقلبات الجوية التي تشهدها عدة مناطق، وسط متابعة مستمرة للتطورات المناخية وتحديثات الحالة المطرية.
The National Center of Meteorology has issued a red alert warning of heavy rainfall in the governorates of Rahat and Mudrikah in the Makkah region, accompanied by strong winds and a significant reduction in horizontal visibility, as well as hail, flash floods, and thunderstorms, in an escalating weather situation that will last until 9 PM.
The center clarified that the climatic data indicates significant activity in cumulonimbus clouds, which raises the likelihood of flash floods and rising water levels in valleys and ravines, urging residents to exercise caution and stay away from flood channels and areas where water accumulates, and to adhere to the instructions of the relevant authorities to ensure public safety.
This warning comes as part of a series of alerts issued by the meteorological department over the past few days due to the weather fluctuations being experienced in several regions, with continuous monitoring of climatic developments and updates on rainfall conditions.
