اليوان الصيني يقفز إلى أعلى مستوياته في 4 سنوات – أخبار السعودية
سجّل اليوان الصيني ارتفاعاً إلى أعلى مستوى له في أربع سنوات أمام سلة عملات شركائه التجاريين، مدعوماً بدفاع بنك الشعب الصيني عن سياسته في إدارة سعر الصرف، ورفضه الاتهامات الموجهة إليه بشأن تعمّد خفض قيمة العملة.
وارتفع مؤشر «سي إف إي تي إس» لسعر صرف اليوان أمام العملات الرئيسية إلى 103.9 نقطة خلال تعاملات (الجمعة)، مسجلاً أعلى مستوى له منذ أبريل 2022، لترتفع مكاسبه منذ مطلع العام إلى أكثر من 5%.
وجاء هذا الصعود بالتزامن مع اقتراب العملة الصينية من أعلى مستوياتها في عدة أعوام أمام الدولار الأمريكي، وبلوغها أعلى مستوى لها في أكثر من عام مقابل اليورو.
وفي خطوة تعكس قوة اليوان، حدّد بنك الشعب الصيني السعر المرجعي للعملة عند أقوى مستوى له منذ عام 2023، وذلك بعد إصدار وثيقة مفصلة (الخميس)، رفض فيها توظيف ارتفاع قيمة اليوان أداةً لمعالجة الاختلالات التجارية العالمية، وفقاً لما أوردته «بلومبرج».
The Chinese yuan has recorded a rise to its highest level in four years against a basket of its trading partners’ currencies, supported by the People’s Bank of China’s defense of its exchange rate management policy and its rejection of accusations regarding deliberately devaluing the currency.
The CFETS index for the yuan’s exchange rate against major currencies rose to 103.9 points during trading on Friday, marking its highest level since April 2022, with gains since the beginning of the year exceeding 5%.
This rise coincided with the Chinese currency approaching its highest levels in several years against the US dollar and reaching its highest level in over a year against the euro.
In a move reflecting the strength of the yuan, the People’s Bank of China set the reference rate for the currency at its strongest level since 2023, following the issuance of a detailed document on Thursday, in which it rejected using the yuan’s appreciation as a tool to address global trade imbalances, according to Bloomberg.
