دعم أسطورة كرة القدم البرازيلية روماريو قائد النصر ومنتخب البرتغال كريستيانو رونالدو في أزمته مع مدرب منتخب بلاده جورجي جيسوس.
وقال جيسوس في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة «أبولا» البرتغالية: «رونالدو غادر المعسكر لأنه شعر بأنه لا يحظى بالتقدير وأنه لا يمثل أي أهمية، هذا كل شيء، إذا كان الأمر كذلك، كنت سأفعل الشيء نفسه».
وكشف روماريو، المعروف بأسلوبه الصريح والحاد، عن الخطأ الوحيد الذي ارتكبه رونالدو قبل مغادرة المعسكر، قائلاً: «لكن قبل أن يرحل، كان عليه أن يعين جيسوس ويقول له: «اذهب إلى الجحيم» بعدها يغادر المعسكر، كان هذا وهو خطأه الوحيد».
رونالدو: جيسوس خلف وعده «مرتين»
وكان رونالدو قد أصدر بياناً (الثلاثاء) الماضي، قال فيه إن جيسوس أخلف وعده بعدما اتفق معه على منحه 30 دقيقة خلال مباراة النرويج، لكنه انتهى به الحال على مقاعد البدلاء طوال المباراة.
ووفقاً لرونالدو، أُعدت وثيقة تضمنت 8 نقاط كان من المفترض أن يتناولها جيسوس خلال مؤتمره الصحفي الذي سبق مواجهة الدنمارك، من بينها أنه لم يطالب بالمشاركة في المباريات، وأنه احترم قرارات المدرب، وأن طلب جيسوس منه إجراء عمليات الإحماء دون إشراكه كان خطأ، لكن مدربه لم يفِ بوعده للمرة الثانية.
اعتذار للجماهير
واعتذر رونالدو للجماهير البرتغالية، مؤكداً جاهزيته لمواصلة تمثيل المنتخب البرتغالي عقب قضاء أي عقوبة تُفرض عليه.

Romário, known for his blunt and sharp style, revealed the only mistake Ronaldo made before leaving the camp, saying: “But before he left, he should have told Jesus: ‘Go to hell,’ and then he could leave the camp. That was his only mistake.”
Ronaldo: Jesus broke his promise “twice”
Ronaldo had issued a statement last Tuesday, saying that Jesus broke his promise after agreeing to give him 30 minutes during the match against Norway, but he ended up on the bench for the entire game.
According to Ronaldo, a document was prepared that included 8 points that Jesus was supposed to address during his press conference before the Denmark match, including that he did not demand to participate in the matches, that he respected the coach’s decisions, and that Jesus’s request for him to warm up without including him was a mistake, but his coach did not keep his promise for the second time.
Apology to the fans
Ronaldo apologized to the Portuguese fans, affirming his readiness to continue representing the Portuguese national team after serving any punishment imposed on him.
