مذكرة تفاهم سعودية إماراتية في الربط الكهربائي والربط السككي – أخبار السعودية
وقّع في الرياض، اليوم (الخميس)، كلٌ من وزير الطاقة وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ووزير الاستثمار في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة محمد حسن السويدي، مذكرة تفاهم تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون الإستراتيجي بين المملكة العربية السعودية ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، في مجال الربط الكهربائي وتبادل وبيع الكهرباء والربط السككي، بهدف تعظيم الفوائد الاقتصادية المشتركة بين البلدين في هذه المجالات.
وتشمل المذكرة الاتفاق على المبادئ العامة للربط الكهربائي وتبادل وبيع الكهرباء بين البلدين، وإجراء الدراسات الفنية والاقتصادية والبيئية ذات الصلة، والتنسيق مع الدول الأعضاء في مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية بشأن توسعة منظومة الربط الكهربائي الخليجي وفقًا لأحكام الاتفاقية العامة للربط الكهربائي لدول المجلس، بما يدعم كفاءة منظومات الطاقة ويعزز الترابط الإقليمي.
كما تشمل المذكرة الاتفاق على المبادئ العامة للربط السككي بين البلدين للنقل والعبور ثنائي الاتجاه للسلع والبضائع، بما يسهم في تعزيز التكامل اللوجستي ورفع كفاءة سلاسل الإمداد ودعم فرص التنمية الاقتصادية والتكامل الإقليمي.
Today (Thursday) in Riyadh, both the Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Minister of Investment of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing strategic cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in the fields of electricity interconnection, electricity exchange and sales, and railway connectivity, with the goal of maximizing the shared economic benefits between the two countries in these areas.
The memorandum includes an agreement on the general principles of electricity interconnection and electricity exchange and sales between the two countries, conducting relevant technical, economic, and environmental studies, and coordinating with the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council regarding the expansion of the Gulf electricity interconnection system in accordance with the provisions of the general agreement on electricity interconnection among the Council states, which supports the efficiency of energy systems and enhances regional connectivity.
It also includes an agreement on the general principles of railway connectivity between the two countries for the two-way transport and transit of goods and commodities, which contributes to enhancing logistical integration, improving supply chain efficiency, and supporting opportunities for economic development and regional integration.
